NEOPROOF RC 205 is a one part modified acrylic polymer based coating along with liquid additives. Finds use as a penetrating waterproof compound for terraces, balconies and roof slabs. It accommodates limited crack movement in underlying surfaces. Bonds excellently to most building materials thus becoming a part of concrete repair. The coating after curing becomes transparent as such taking the colour of the surface coated.
APPLICATION AREA
The product finds use for water proofing of basements, toilet, terraces, roofs, swimming pools, water tanks, bridge decks etc. Used in general concrete repairs and in places where high bond strength is required. Finds use for protection of concrete against corrosion, salt attack. Suitable for application where good bond between old and new concrete is required. Used as a cementitious coating in watertanks / sunkportions etc.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface must be thoroughly cleaned free of dirt, dust, grease, oil and loose particles. The concrete should be dry and smooth. When applying directly over concrete new or old, dry asphalt, prime first with primer coat. When using as a top coat to protect and rejuvenate existing smooth asphalt roofs, first repair all blisters, cracks, split seams and flashing
METHOD OF USE Prime the prepared surface with NEOPROOF RC 205 diluted in the ratio of 1:3. Post drying of primer, apply 1st & succeeding coats. Apply by use of standard roofing brooms, brushes, squeegees or airless spray equipment. Check the viscosity to ensure smooth spray of the product. Allow full curing of each coat (approx 8 – 10 hours) before applying next coat. Can also be mixed with water & cement in the ratio of 1:2:4 or 5 and applied as a cementitious coating.
COVERAGE
Approximate coverage is around 50-60 sq. ft / kg. The coverage depends on micro porosities of the surfaces.
STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
Shelf life is 12 months in unopened container. Store away from sunlight and preferably below 30oC. Storage should be frost protected.
CLEANING Tools:
Clean all the tools immediately with water. Hands: Use a hand cleaner/water followed by soap. Use of suitable thinner for cleaning is required after drying.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Exercise caution and use protective clothing such as gloves and goggles. Inhalation of vapor or mist should be avoided. If inhaled symptoms include coughing, wheezing, laryngitis, and shortness of breath, headache, nausea, and vomiting. Immediately shift victim to fresh air & if need be start artificial respiration. Give oxygen if breathing is labored & call emergency medical help. In case of eye contact flush with water for 15 minutes and call for medical help. If swallowed will cause nausea, vomiting, and loss of consciousness. Do not induce vomiting rather call for medical help. If contact with skin flush with water/soap & water until all traces are removed. Seek medical attention if required.

A Surface Treatment System for Protecting Concrete & Masonry
CICO TAPECRETE P-151, popularly known as TAPECRETE is an acrylic based Polymer Modified Cementitious Flexible Composite coating system. CICO TAPECRETE P-151 in conjunction with cement provides properties to combat the shortcomings of plain cement, particularly its poor adhesion properties, low impact strength, low flexural strength and thin section fragility. CICO TAPECRETE P-151 polymer adds to the potential use as well as enhances the properties of cement slurry/ mortar/concrete making them excellent choice for use in new as well as renovation work.
USES
CICO TAPECRETE P-151 is used for surfacetreatment, protecting, waterproofing andrepairing concrete and masonry.Waterproofing of basements, toilets, terraces,roofs, swimming pools, water towers etc.General concrete repairs. Protection ofconcrete against corrosion, salt attack etc.
FEATURES
Combines a tough, flexible, hard-wearing surface with waterproofing.Allows trapped vapour to escape thus preventing peeling and blistering.Can be applied in uniform thickness to horizontal and vertical surfaces.Develops excellent bond to most building materials.Reduces or prevents salt penetration into concrete. Is not affected by ultraviolet light or by chemicals ranging from mild acids to strong alkalies. Is highly durable in continuous wet condition. Is non-flammable and does not give off toxic gases, when exposed to fire. Will not rot or corrode. Most properties improve with age. Is not harmful to the health of workman.
Application
CICO TAPECRETE P-151 polymer is mixed withneat fresh cement in the ratio of 1:2 byweight. The mix has to be stirred thoroughlyuntil smooth homogeneous slurry is obtained.Wait for 5-10 minutes to release entrapped airbubbles. Any lump found in the mix should beremoved or mixed thoroughly. The mix has tobe applied by brush on rendered and/orprepared surface. Two or more coats arerecommended. First coat should be allowed toair dry for 5-6 hours prior to apply subsequentcoat.
Curing
After application of final coat of CICO
TAPECRETE P-151, initial air drying shall be done for 2-6 hours. During this period no water is to be used for curing. In case of high temperature and low humidity combined with high wind condition, the coating shall be covered with polythene sheet to avoid rapid drying of the coating. After maximum period of 6 hours after the final application, moist curing shall be done for the next 24 hours by spraying/sprinkling of potable water on CICO TAPECRETE P-151 coating . During this period at no point of time should the CICO TAPECRETE P-151 coating be left completely dry or submerged in water. Following moist curing, the CICO TAPECRETE P-151 coating shall be allowed to air dry for 2 days before submersion in water.
PRECAUTIONS
CICO TAPECRETE P-151 system must be applied with temperature above 10??? C and below 40??? C. CICO TAPECRETE P-151 should not be used without addition of cementSTORAGE
Store in dry cool place in the temperature range from 5???C to 30???C in sealed condition. Do not allow to freeze. Keep away from direct sunlight.

Two Pack Polymer Modified Elastomeric Cementitious Waterproof Coating
CICO TAPECRETE RTU is a two pack polymer modified cementitious elastomeric protective and waterproof coating. When it hardens it develops excellent bonding property to most building materials. It is suitable in both interior and exterior building and all other civil engineering applications. Cured film of CICO TAPECRETE RTU prevents dampness in buildings tanks, roofs and other concrete structures permanently.

Surface
Preparation All surfaces must be sound clean and free from any oils, grease, paint, bitumen or other surface contaminants and efflorescence. If the surface is treated previously with a water-repellent CICO TAPECRETE RTU will not develop any bonding property. Under such situation, through grit blasting/scrabbling is required, or otherwise, all loose or defective materials should be removed by chipping or needle gunning. Concrete surfaces should be free from laitance/dirt or any loose materials. Prepare stiff paste of CICO TAPECRETE RTU (Use 10% less of component A) to repair the defective areas like cracks, cavities, and blowholes. Any leakage should be sealed with CICO NO-3 before coating with CICO TAPECRETE RTU slurry.
Mixing
Mix full quantity of pack B with full quantity of pack A or mix in a ratio of 2.5:1 by weight (A:B) for smaller quantities in a bucket. Continue mixing until smooth slurry results. Use such slurry within 20 to 30 minutes.
METHOD OF USE
For damp wall, basement
All surfaces where CICO TAPECRETE RTU shall be used, should be dampened well by spraying/sprinkling of water over them. The first coat of CICO TAPECRETE RTU should be applied on such dampened surfaces using fiber brush. If the surface dries during application or otherwise, re-dampen it. The second coat of CICO TAPECRETE RTU shall be applied when the first coat has hardened reasonably (no nail impression within 4 to 7 hour). For any subsequent coat, the previous coat should be allowed to harden upto maximum 24 hours. Protect the freshly applied coat form rain water or water splashes. Protect the freshly applied surface from direct sunlight for at least 6 – 8 hours.
For exposed roof
All surfaces where CICO TAPECRETE RTU shall be used, should be cleaned, sound and free from oil, grease, paint, bitumen or other surface contaminants. The surface should be then dampened well with clean potable water on which the first coat of CICO TAPECRETE RTU is applied using soft fibre brush. The second coat shall then be applied over the first coat after 6 – 8 hours later than the application of previous coat. It is further advisable that whenever the exposed surface is subjected to traffic movement, 15 – 25 mm plaster (1:4 cement sand) using CICO SUPER shall laid on the second coat to protect the CICO TAPECRETE RTU coating.

DESCRIPTION

APPLICATION ARE
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface should be clean free of dirt, gravel, dust and oil. Concrete and cementitious substrate are to be well compacted and at least 28 days old, with toweled finish. Wood panels or metal sheeting should be solidly fixed and cleaned.
METHOD OF USE
Prime the prepared surface with NEOPROOF RC 200 diluted in the ratio of 1:2. Post drying of primer, apply 1st & succeeding coats. Apply by brushes, squeegees, rollers or airless spray equipment. Allow full curing of each coat (approx 8 – 10 hours) before applying next coat. The product is water dilutable upto 15-25% for 1st coat & 10 – 15 % for 2nd coat. Ensure complete curing (approx 48 -72 hours) before laying thermal insulation & mechanical protection.
WATERPROOFING CONVENTIONAL ROOFS
Asphalt surfaces: Old asphalt surfaces and asphalt roofing felt after cleaning must be first primed. This would strengthen the weathered surfaces. Blisters in asphalt roofing felt must be cut open cross wise, dried and bonded with suitable adhesive. Terrazzo Tile Roofs: Damaged or washed-out joints should be cleaned, repaired or re-grouted and then primed. Flat roofs with zero pitch: Flat roofs without pitch are roof surfaces where puddles may develop and pose special problems. Puddles after curing cannot be rectified resulting in redoing the entire waterproofing. Hence dry weather condition is must to help satisfactory curing and puddle free coating. Metal Roofs: In case of Iron or galvanized iron: remove loose paint with a wire brush. De-rust corroded areas and prime with suitable metal primers. In case of Zinc or aluminum: remove loose paint with a wire brush. Remove corrosion if present and prime with solvent primer. Thoroughly remove moss and mildew with wire brush; subsequently clean the surface with a broom. Concrete Roofs: After cleaning the roof surfaces, prime the surface followed by multiple coats
COVERAGE
Approximate coverage is around 25-30 sq. ft per kg per coat. 2 coats of application should generally return DFT of approx 200-300 microns. For higher DFT use additional coats.
