Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP is based on modified styrene butadiene latex supplied as a ready to use bonding agent in liquid consistency. It is used for repair of spalled concrete – floors, columns, beams, chhajas, slabs. Waterproofing of toilets & bathrooms, small terraces etc. It bonds strongly to old & new concrete and to plasters. It reduces shrinkage, prevents cracking, dust pick up & improves abrasion resistance.

- For waterproofing – Liquid & effluent tanks, car decks & walkways.
- As a bonding agent – Bonding mortar for tiles & panels, as undercoat for special finishes such as top rendering coat for chemical resistant floors.
- As a bond coat – For bonding of new concrete to old concrete, masonry stone work, plastering.
- For cladding – Fixing or re-fixing of slip bricks, tiles, stones & marble bedding.
- As external rendering – Weatherproof & frost resistant render, high wear & erosion resistant render. As bonding slurry coat for pinhole treatment on concrete surface & as repair mortar for overhead application.
- Clean the surface with wire brush or scrubber to remove hidden dirt, loose particles, laitance & dust. Degrease the surface by using suitable solvents.
- Repair the spalled concrete portion by saw, cutting the extreme edges of the repair location to a depth of at lease 10 mm to avoid featheredging & to provide strong bond.
- Clean the concrete surface to remove any contamination where breaking is not possible. Roughen the surface by light scabbling or grit blasting.
- Expose corroded rebar in the repairing area fully . Remove all loose scales & corrosion deposits and immediately clean the surface.
- For priming of steel surface, apply Dr. Fixit Rust Remover to all exposed reinforcement area and wash it with water jet before applying Dr. Fixit Epoxy Zinc Rich Primer on the rebars.
- For priming of concrete substrate, the surface should be thoroughly saturated with potable water. Remove any excess of water prior to application. Slurry of primer coat is prepared by mixing of one part Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP, one part of water and 3 parts of fresh OPC cement. Slowly mix cement with binder to obtain a smooth consistency. Continue mixing the slurry during application to prevent settlement.
- A forced action mixer is essential (PAN Mixer) & recommended to ensure that Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP mortar is thoroughly mixed or Use a suitable sized drum with heavy-duty electrical drill machine fitted with spiral paddle mixer at slow speed of 400-500 rpm.
- Hand mixing is permissible only for 25 kg or less quantity.
- Charge the mixer with required quantity of clean & dry sand, cement & mix for 1-2 minutes, then add Dr. Fixit
- Pidicrete URP as per the dosages recommended. Mix for 2-3 minutes to avoid air entrapment. Keep on slowly adding water until the required consistency is achieved. Do not add extra water.

Dr. Fixit Fast Flex is a high elastic, waterproofing cement based material. With special waterproofing properties, easy to use by plastering, applying by using a brush and roller or trowel. Can be painted or overlaid. Use with waterproofing for non-toxic water tanks, can be used with drinking water. (Passed the water quality test on toxic substances (heavy metals) of the Water Quality Control Department) Provincial Waterworks Authority. After mixing the two parts together, the liquid material can be applied on the desired surface. After drying, it looks like a rubber sheet. Dr. Fixit Fastflex is a 2-component cement-based waterproofing material, which is powdered (fine sand, sizing), liquid (modified acrylic polymer) and nontoxic substances, environmentally friendly - free Volatile Organic Compound (VOC), excellent waterproofing property - no leakage up to 10 m. hydrostatic pressure
Area of Application
- Concrete foundations, basements wall and lift pits.
- Swimming pools, water tanks and reservoirs.
- Concealed roofs, parking decks, bathroom, toilet, kitchen, balconies and planters.
- Any other concrete, cement or masonry surface subject to damage from moisture.

1. Surface Preparation
- Allow new concrete and masonry substrate to fully cure prior application.
- All surfaces must be free from oil, grease, wax, dirt or any other form of foreign matter which might effect adhesion.
- Spalled Concrete must be sound before applied.
- Substrate should be reach a "Saturated Surface Dry" (SSD) condition (damp, without standing water)
- Use Portland cement mechanical mixer at slow speed; add product powder part to liquid part in a clean container until a smooth and homogenous slurry mixture is achieved.
- Allow the mixed slurry to stand for 5-10 minutes for releasing air-trapped during the mixing prior to application.
- Mixing material must be use within recommend pot life
- Dr. Fixit Fastflex slurry can be applied by brush or roller. DO NOT dilute with water.
- Recommend Coverage rate is approximately 1.1 kg./m2 /coat for 1 mm. (Minimum 2 coat.).
- Allow the slurry to cure for at least 15-30 min. before applying second coat. Do not leave the first coat to dry longer than 8 hours.
- For tile adhesive application on surface allow surface to cure for 3 days prior.
- If first coat was cure over 8 hours, fix surface by applying 2 to 3 coats of Dr.Fixit Pidifin 2K for desire waterproof surface thickness or fix by applying Dr.Fixit Fevimate XL tile adhesive to act as top coat protection for Dr.Fixit Fastflex.
- For maximum protection, allow 12 to 24 hours curing time after second coat.
- Leave Dr. Fixit Fastflex at least 7 days to cure before filling or sealing water to test leaks.

Dr. Fixit Pidiproof LW+ is specially formulated integral liquid waterproofing compound composed of surface active plasticising agents, polymers & additives. It is used as an additive for cement concrete, mortar & plasters. It makes concrete cohesive and prevents segregation.

- Start addition of 75–80% mixing water & mix for 2-3 minutes.
- Dr. Fixit Pidiproof LW+ is added as per the recommended dosage into the remaining mixing / gauging water, then add to concrete mixer & mix for another 2 minutes.
- Place the concrete or apply plaster, as needed.
- Cure the applied mortar or concrete as per good construction practices.
- Do not add Dr. Fixit Pidiproof LW+ directly to dry cement & aggregate mix.
- Maintain water-cement ratio as low as possible.
- Do not increase the dosage of Dr. Fixit Pidiproof LW+ than the recommendation.

Dr. Fixit Roofseal is a single component cold applied elastomeric waterproofing coating based on synthetic resin emulsion. It is a tough yet extremely flexible coating that can be efficiently applied to any thickness by roller or squeegee creating a fully adhered waterproofing coating with no wastage. It is water based with low VOC’s that is sustainable for years as a waterproofing coating.

1 SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface preparation is generally limited to cleaning by broom brush or compressed air. All surfaces to be applied must be free from dust, loose material, oil, or any other material which may impair adhesion of the material. All surface cracks up to 5 mm wide should be filled up with the same material and pre-striped prior to application of the material. 2 PRIMING
Primer is required only for high absorbent surface such as light weight concrete. Primer recommended to be used is Dr. Fixit Torchshield Primer, when the surface is completely dry
APPLICATION
Apply a coat of Dr. Fixit Roofseal over an angle fillet as a reinforcing strip all around the parapet wall and allow drying. Apply on all vertical up stand at an average girth of 200 mm. Apply 2 coats Dr. Fixit Roofseal at 0.75 ltrs / m2/ coat, at an interval of 12 hrs between the coats and allow drying completely.
Water ponding test:
After full drying of second coat for at least 72 hrs, a water ponding test can be performed by filling water on the terrace by carefully blocking all the down take drain outlets without damaging the coating. The test shall be carried out for 48 hrs by filling water up to 50 mm level. Observe for leakages if any and then remove the water and allow the coating to dry completely for about 24 hrs before proceeding further. } Spread 100 grm/m2 geotextile over, before a concrete screed is laid. Protect the coating with a concrete screed in M 20 grade. The protective screed should be of minimum 50 mm thickness maintaining an average slope of 1:100 towards the drain outlets for effective and efficient draining of water. After the application of screed, provide control joints along the length and breadth of entire screed area. The joint can be provided by using a saw cutting machine attached with a 3 mm blade. The joints will be 12 mm wide and 12 mm deep. 28-30 days later, these joints can be filled with a suitable elastomeric sealant.
Optional:
During surface preparation an important thing is the fitting of drain outlets. Dr. Fixit Roofix Drain is designed to prevent the possible leakages from this most critical area. Roofix Drain is aligned with the drain down take pipes. The drain is fitted by carefully aligning and fitting using Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP.
